2024.04.11MACMIC has launched two new IGBT modules designed for the automotive 800V platform and range-extended hybrid vehicles.
MACMIC introduces its latest products tailored for automotive applications: the MMG600V120X6RS designed for 800V electric drive controllers, and the MMG280VD075X6T7 developed for 1.5L range extenders with a 70KW GCU. Both products utilize MACMIC’s GV and GVD packaging technologies, which minimize conduction losses and deliver outstanding efficiency across a range of customer applications. The cascade H-bridge topology is simple, flexible, and widely applied in high-voltage cascade inverters, Static Var Generators (SVG), and cascade H-bridge energy storage systems.In industrial applications, motors, which serve as the driving units for equipment such as fans, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and crushers, consume significant amounts of energy. By integrating cascade inverters with production processes, motor energy consumption can be substantially reduced.
